Gridsmith uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Umami): no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking. Browsing and generating stay anonymous. If you create an account, a strictly necessary session cookie keeps you signed in — it is not used for tracking. The parameters you enter to render a model are not kept beyond the time needed to generate the export.
Creating an account is optional — generating, previewing and exporting all work without one. If you sign up, we store your email address, a securely hashed password and the account creation date, solely to provide the account service (saving your creations and, later, texture licences). The legal basis is the performance of that service at your request; the data is kept until you delete your account, which you can do at any time from your account page (right to erasure). No personal data is sold or shared.
Gridsmith generates generic shapes and dimensions only — no branded or copyrighted designs. You are responsible for the use you make of the produced files.
